About Family Day
The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts Family Day program is hosted monthly and free of charge to community members. Family Day provides a participatory exploration of global cultures and themes based on SAMFA’s collections.
What to Expect
Enter the main museum and pick up a Family Day ticket from the admissions booth. This ticket is FREE and will allow you access to the galleries all day long, as well as all of the wonderful activities and amenities we have available, including:
- Kid’s Activities in the Education Studio: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Book Giveaway
- Galleries Open: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (free admission during Family Day)
- Light refreshments available
Each Family Day explores a different theme inspired by SAMFA’s collections and exhibitions. Activities may include interactive displays, global cultural experiences, food samples, live music or performances, and multiple hands-on art projects.
